This position provides and supports quality patient care through a variety of day-to-day functions. Hours include days (8am - 5pm), possible evening clinic until 8:30pm, and Saturday morning (8am - noon) rotation. Flexibility to travel or work out of more than one clinical location is desired.

Southdale Pediatrics will pay for your course materials and provide hands‑on training. Once certified, you’ll enjoy a wage increase and get to cross‑train in our x‑ray department.
LPN Responsibilities:- Comprehensive intake including: height, weight, and vitals
- Hearing and vision screens
- Deliver injections including vaccines, influenza, and PPD/TB testing
- Collect NP, throat, and nasal swabs
- Run the following waived kit tests: RSV, influenza and strep.
- Assisting physicians with procedures
- Nursing skills such as caths, neb treatments, and antibiotic injections
- Patient and family education
- Care coordination
- Documentation in the patient's electronic health record
- Cleaning and stocking clinic rooms.
- Eventual certification in limited scope x‑ray which will add to the variety of day‑to‑day tasks as you provide coverage in that department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- LPN license in the state of Minnesota
- Limited Scope X‑Ray certification is valued
- Experience with pediatric procedures is valued
- Experience with electronic medical records; charting and charging
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Provide excellent customer service while working efficiently with busy physician schedules
- Must work well with children and families with diverse backgrounds and medical complexities
