American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and MN licensure.

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care, teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
• General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from
• Required to work every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, SANE
• Skills required:
  
  cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, 12 lead EKG/ECG, IV therapy/phlebotomy, IV starts and maintenance, and triage
• Experience with care of ventilated patients preferred
• ICU experience preferred
• ED boarding experience preferred
• One supervisor reference required for consideration

• Provide emergency care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population in a teaching hospital setting with Level 3 trauma designation
• Navy blue scrub color required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting
• RTO should ideally not exceed 5 days during the assignment
