Description:
Position for PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 RN. Responsibilities include managing post-anesthesia care for patients. Ratios are 1:1. Weekends required as needed based on unit needs. No on-call requirements. Floating to meet facility needs is expected. Candidates will float to different locations within the same hospital. Not open to accommodating block scheduling. Locals are not accepted within a 100-mile radius. Requests for time off should ideally not exceed 5 days.
Client may cancel up to 3 shifts for any assigned candidate without penalty. Type of facility is acute care and teaching hospital. Total staffed beds are 317. Charting system used is Epic. Candidates will be required to have a minimum of 1 supervisor reference during the hiring process. Each candidate can only be submitted to one position at a time.
Candidates may need to float within the hospital to meet staffing needs. Candidates are required to have experience in specific nursing skills related to the role. This includes care processes and specific procedures typically performed in PACU.
