RN Nurse, Emergency Medicine
ER Registered Nurse
Position is for an ER Registered Nurse. The shift is three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Patient ratios are 1:4 during this shift. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is required every third weekend. No on-call duty is required. The role focuses on treating patients with trauma, injury, or serious medical conditions that require urgent intervention. The emergency department serves a diverse patient population, including those with medical, mental health, and chemical dependency needs.
Specialties include neuro, cardiac, and mental health care. Nurses will work in a unit that handles both boarding patients and emergency department patients. All candidates will be required to demonstrate strong skills in clinical decision-making and patient care management. Additional interdisciplinary support will be available. Prior experience with charting systems is preferred. Candidates must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
