Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care; Moonlighting

Job Description:

Fairview Urgent Care provides convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Nurse Practitioners working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at Fairview urgent care centers in the metro area. Hours vary by site.

Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program.
• BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC.
• Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
• Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients
• Must have at least 2 years urgent care or clinic experience. Internal candidates are also preferred.

Flat Rate - $75/hour
