Pharmacy Technician
Location: St. Paul, MN (onsite presence required - only local residents of Minnesota will have their applicants considered)
Pay Rate: $22 - $24 / HR
Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K benefits.
Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring for a Pharmacy Technician. Duties will consist of entering and maintaining prescription orders, process new admissions, medication changes, transfers, discharge orders received from facilities, update insurance information, assist pharmacists in preparing, tracking inventory, monitor incoming orders, provide customer service when necessary, and other duties as assigned. Seeking a driven and hard working candidate!
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry - accurately entering and maintaining prescription orders
- Prescription Filling - accurately organizing, pulling, slotting, and recording inventory of prescriptions and collaborating with Pharmacist on verifying orders
- Customer Service - providing responses; written and oral to customers in a prompt and organized fashion
- Order Management - review incoming orders for accuracy, send to fill technician que for processing, ensure orders have been shipped in a timely fashion
- Insurance Knowledge - verifying patient insurance, updating insurance changes, and submitting insurance claims accordingly
- Proficiency in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
