Our client, a leading organization in the display and optical film industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be an essential part of the Optical Films Department supporting the engineering and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Location:

Maplewood, Minnesota

Pay Range: $18 to $22

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Cutting, preparing, and testing optical films used in various display technologies such as TVs, monitors, mobile phones, laptops, and automotive applications.
• Assisting with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results for engineering review.
• Following established procedures and methods to ensure quality and consistency in laboratory work.
• Working independently at times while collaborating effectively with team members to meet project goals.
• Maintaining laboratory protocols and inspection procedures to uphold safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Experience or training in a laboratory or technical environment is preferred.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong aptitude for technical tasks and problem-solving.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or education is advantageous.
