Job SummaryThe Senior Quality Engineer leads development activities, including supporting part validation, qualification, and sustaining programs in a high‑pace manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do- Identify opportunities for improvement, perform root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve overall quality.
- Drive supplier quality tasks to improve overall material and vendor performance.
- Collect and evaluate production samples, ensuring that materials and products meet acceptable quality standards.
- Maintain and analyze records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics.
- Draft and maintain standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing, quality, and business processes.
- Monitor and report on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and root causes of defects in products or processes.
- Participate in internal audits, prepare documentation and evidence for audit reports and drive resolution of audit findings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Supplier Quality experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, including capability studies and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret dimensional prints, specifications, and standards.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with individuals and cross‑functional teams.
- Effective time management skills.
- Detail oriented, organized and ability to work independently.
- Experience with championing and/or deploying quality continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, Lean, 6S).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point);
SharePoint knowledge preferred.
