Full-time - Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PMJob Type: Direct Hire
About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Technician I for a company in Saint Paul, MN. This role plays a key part in supporting quality systems, ensuring product compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do as a Quality Technician:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using established standards and tools
- Set up, adjust, and operate inspection equipment including CMM machines
- Document and report nonconformances and inspection results in quality systems (e.g., Epicor)
- Support process improvements, failure investigations, and quality initiatives
- Collect, analyze, and report data to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Technician role:
- High school diploma required (technical certification or associate degree preferred)
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience or equivalent technical training in quality
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Basic understanding of GD&T principles and inspection tools (calipers, microscopes, CMM)
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
