The Calibration Technician will work with Production, other Technicians, and Quality Engineers to complete quality responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primarily responsible in leading and managing measurement equipment and tools calibration program and activities for entire site
  • Produce logistics pertaining to equipment calibration activities which include meeting calibration deadlines, generating purchase orders, requesting quotes, and shipping
  • Work with qualified personnel to ensure all equipment software is updated and kept well maintained
  • Computer technical ability, communication, and attention for details are key
General responsibilities
  • Facilitate Equipment Calibration program
  • Perform ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibrations in house and support suppliers
  • Maintain professional records of calibration certificates
  • Promote continuous improvements for metrology methodologies and practices
  • Track and run calibration reports
  • Maintain records and analyze data
  • Help with ISO Process Audits
  • Assist in Process Improvement (Kaizens), if needed
  • Update & create Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, and Policies
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years’ experience in Calibration and Metrology
Preferred Qualifications
  • GD&T Experience (ability to reads prints/drawings at minimum)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (plus)
  • ISO 9001 experience or similar
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (#1 Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient communication, especially by e-mail
  • Experience working on Corrective Actions (CAPA)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize
  • CMM and Vision System experience a plus
  • Experience with ERP System (JD Edwards is a plus)
  • Experience with fire and safety products and markets a plus
  • Experience with a Manufacturing Enterprise Systems (MES) a plus
