Lab Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily lab operations. The technician will assist with routine testing, sample preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential in ensuring accurate results and smooth laboratory workflow.

• Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and samples
• Assist scientists with routine experiments, testing, and data collection
• Accurately record and document experimental results and observations
• Follow established protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory instruments and work spaces
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and communicate restocking needs
• Support basic data analysis and report preparation
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety, regulatory, and operational guidelines

Required:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or basic data entry tools

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industry)
• Familiarity with common lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of data analysis or lab software systems
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
