Lab Technician
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily lab operations. The technician will assist with routine testing, sample preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential in ensuring accurate results and smooth laboratory workflow.
Responsibilities- Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and samples
- Assist scientists with routine experiments, testing, and data collection
- Accurately record and document experimental results and observations
- Follow established protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory instruments and work spaces
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and communicate restocking needs
- Support basic data analysis and report preparation
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety, regulatory, and operational guidelines
Required:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or basic data entry tools
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industry)
- Familiarity with common lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis or lab software systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Hands-on experience in a collaborative scientific environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
