Sales Trainee​/Merchandisers - Phillips Wine & Spirits

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts.
• Checks quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, inventory status, and services the accounts.
• Fills shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
• Communicates with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out of stock inventory, oversight in shelf space, and any concerns or situations encountered during business hours.
• Builds and develops trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, has excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude.
• Performs other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Stocks shelves, coolers, and builds displays.
• Follows up after deliveries are made by our drivers and services shelves from the liquor department storage areas.
• Achieves sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.
• Supports, services, and maintains accounts.

• Work experience in the liquor industry, such as bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus.
• Goal and results oriented.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• Competitive, self-motivated and customer service orientated.
• Professional written and oral communication skills a must.
• Have reliable transportation with valid insurance.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
