Sales Account Manager II – Saint Paul, MN
Drive growth, build relationships, and help redefine chemical distribution. Sales Account Managers are responsible for growing our business with new and existing customers, matching customer needs with our broad product portfolio supported by digital tools, technical experts, and a global distribution network.
What You’ll Do:- Consultative Selling: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by managing and growing accounts.
- Sales Prospecting: Find new opportunities, win new business, and grow the territory.
- Customer Experience Advocate: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top‑tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions.
- Portfolio Management: Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory. Be relentless to win back lost customers.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar B2B role with a demonstrated track record of building relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Self‑directed, outcome‑focused, with initiative, decisive action, and consistent results.
- Good listener, curious, passionate about learning customer needs, solving problems and winning business.
- Ability to plan and prepare sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
- St. Paul, MN (base location with flexibility).
- Salary range: $91,910 – $101,100 annually, plus monthly commissions based on contribution margin.
- Salary influenced by experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and location.
