- Develop an effective marketing and sales strategic plan to maximize wine and spirits distribution within an established or growing customer base.
- Maintain routine contact with key decision makers to build broad support for Winebow’s services.
- Negotiate and manage local purchasing agreements and contracts.
- Provide timely educational programs, materials, and services when deemed necessary.
- Work with the District Manager and Sales Director to monitor sales growth and market penetration using monthly reporting tools.
- Participate in wine and spirits education programs, host dinners, and pouring events, including tastings.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve billing issues within the designated territory.
- Communicate directly with the Customer Service department regarding specific ordering or shipping needs indicated by clients within the territory.
- Meet agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
- Arrive at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Significant travel by automobile. Travel by airplane/train and overnight stays may be required.
EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USEDAutomobile, telephone, copier, computer (or tablet), fax machine, calculator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSLifting up to 45 lbs, bending, sitting, carrying, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, driving.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- High School or GED diploma.
- Two years marketing or sales experience.
- Restaurant/Wine Shop experience preferred.
- Demonstrated computer knowledge.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Remote role with required in-office and offsite event attendance as needed to support business needs.
