Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Construction Sales Inside Sales Support Specialist to support our outside sales team and help drive revenue growth. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, contractors, builders, and project managers by providing quotations, processing orders, coordinating project information, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support outside sales representatives with administrative and sales-related activities.
  • Prepare and manage customer quotes, bids, proposals, and project estimates.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Follow up on quotations and assist with lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience, preferably within construction, building materials, industrial supply, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of construction products, materials, or project workflows is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience preparing bids or construction-related quotations.
  • Understanding of project specifications, blueprints, or construction terminology.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation

Salary Range: $40,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
