Sales Consultant

Position Overview

Johnson Brothers is a leading family‑owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, delivering exceptional service since 1953. We partner with the world’s top beverage brands and are committed to innovation and growth. We are recruiting a Sales Consultant to serve retail stores in the Duluth area and represent our Diageo portfolio.

• Territory Management – Ensure consistent customer contact, plan and execute sales initiatives, and handle all customer‑related issues promptly.
• Selling – Understand products and pricing schedules, deliver effective sales presentations, grow business, and identify and nurture new accounts.
• Merchandising – Use all available point‑of‑sale elements to enhance selling efforts; focus on display size and location, shelf position, cold boxes, counters and windows.
• Servicing – Follow the sales‑call steps, perform inventory checks, communicate to minimize order mistakes, and rotate products on shelves and displays.
• Administration – Adhere to company policies, handle paperwork promptly, and maintain accurate records.

• BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
• Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal‑oriented and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Earning potential $50,000–$75,000+ annually, based on recent sales performance.
