About the JobThis research project will focus on estimating the cross correlation angular power spectrum between the stochastic gravitational wave background anisotropy and anisotropy in electromagnetic tracers of structure in the universe, such as galaxy counts or cosmic microwave background. The project will use the latest data from LIGO, Planck, and/or galaxy surveys.
- 60% developing the necessary analysis codes, conducting the analyses
- 20% producing the relevant post-processing figures and tables
- 20% presenting the results in group meetings and other venues
This position is not eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- BA/BS in physics

- Experience with Python and statistics

Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $20-$22/hour; dependent on education/qualifications/experience.
