The Water Resource Technician II is responsible for providing technical assistance to the Monitoring, Research, and Maintenance Divisionwater monitoring and other data collection of Capitol Region Watershed District.
Responsibilities- Installation, operation, and maintenance of monitoring equipment, including stormwater discharges at key outlets to the Mississippi River and stormwater BMPs.
- Recording and storing data collected from the monitoring program.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and inspecting District stormwater BMPs.
- Assisting with monitoring and analysis of District lakes, wetlands, precipitation, groundwater, and projects associated with lake management plans including fish, vegetation, sediment, and lakeshore areas.
- Participating in field monitoring and preparing and/or delivering samples to the lab during the field season.
