Pride Health is seeking an Environmental Specialist for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.
Location:
St. Paul, MN (On-Site)
Job Type: Contract
Length: 12-Months
Hours:
40 hours/wk, 8 hours/day
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.60 per hour
Overview- Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Includes all major EHS activities, so that it can be applicable to individuals with a variety of EHS responsibilities.
- Identifies, initiates, plans, recommends, promotes, and implements broad EHS programs and projects at Division/Business/Region/Corporate level.
- Independently identifies required plans, business justification, resources, schedules, and interactions to accomplish objectives.
- Conduct activities to support the regulatory compliance, Life Cycle Management and sustainability requirements for existing and new products.
- Support customer response processes which includes authoring standardized responses for customer inquiries.
- Provide support to division annual product EHS testing program – sample collection, prep, and mailing.
- Maintaining documentation relevant to assessment of risk to human health and the environment.
- Support creation of TSCA Compliance Plans.
- Effectively manage activities sensitive to matters of confidentiality / non-disclosure.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering field.
- Works well in teams, an individual contributor, as a facilitator, and leader.
- Collaborating within and outside the organization, at all levels, both locally and globally.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb (sample prep).
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks/motions (sample prep).
- External communications.
