As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Saint Paul, MN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and concerns, document activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age

Minimum 2 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military (Military Police or Combat Arms Only) experience required

• Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facility buildings, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns to report.
• Monitor alarms, access control points, and surveillance systems as assigned; verify credentials, control entry and exit, and assist with visitor processing and/or vehicle screening when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or potential threats through the established chain of command.
• Document activities, patrol observations, incidents, and corrective actions in written reports and electronic systems, maintaining required equipment and firearm handling standards per policy.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
