Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Assignment in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver a customer‑focused presence.

- Provide customer service to client employees and visitors by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, office areas, ATM and drive‑up areas, and the building perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security‑related concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, observing for tailgating, and verifying identification and/or visitor authorization per site procedures.
- Complete security‑related reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and the client per post orders.
- Have 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
