Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
$29.00 per hour
The Stationary Equipment Technician ensures safe, efficient operation of airport equipment through maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A STATIONARY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary equipment, including baggage systems, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues promptly
- Collaborate with the Stationary Equipment Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation per maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive tasks
- Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and use of PPE
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new or modified equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards
- Participate in on-call schedules to address after-hours equipment issues and ensure continuous availability
- Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
