Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM

$29.00 per hour

The Stationary Equipment Technician ensures safe, efficient operation of airport equipment through maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary equipment, including baggage systems, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues promptly
• Collaborate with the Stationary Equipment Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation per maintenance schedules
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive tasks
• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and use of PPE
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new or modified equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards
• Participate in on-call schedules to address after-hours equipment issues and ensure continuous availability
• Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
