Mold Remediation Technician

As a Mold Remediation Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients by effectively removing mold and restoring affected areas. You will work closely with our restoration team to assess damage, contain mold-affected areas, execute remediation plans and perform pre-clearance testing while following industry best practices and standards.

Key responsibilities include performing inspections to identify the presence of mold, determining the origin of the water source, setting up containment barriers and environmental controls, safely removing and disposing of contaminated materials, operating specialized equipment, cleaning, treating and sealing impacted surfaces, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating effectively with clients and team members, following safety protocols, and assisting with other mitigation and restoration tasks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, iPad/computer and Microsoft Office literacy, previous experience in mold mitigation, construction, or environmental/asbestos remediation, certification in mold remediation, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, knowledge of safety procedures, strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.

Compensation: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
