We offer maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for UPS systems, generators, battery energy storage systems, critical cooling systems, and other electrical and mechanical infrastructures across end markets such as renewable energy, telecom, and data centers.
Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to serve and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This fast‑paced role is best suited for self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and eager to grow in the telecom industry. Candidates must reside in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Completing daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems (preferred).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must reside in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
- Required to be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight trips – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient outdoor temperatures.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). hourly (DOE). The pay range reflects our commitment to pay equity and compliance with state and federal pay transparency laws.
