Maintenance Technician

What You'll Do- Perform preventative maintenance on steel manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair plasma tables, steel coil lines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other industrial machinery.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to service quickly and safely.
- Complete inspections, lubrication, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
- Work closely with operators to identify issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Support project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and welding repairs when applicable.
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience (Apprentice Level) or 10+ years of maintenance experience (Experienced Technician).
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read, diagnose, and repair machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- PLC troubleshooting and welding experience are a plus.
- Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, or plasma tables is preferred.

Work with Large-Scale Industrial Equipment
Schedule- Training on 1st Shift (approximately 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) for 30–90 days.
- Transition to a Mid-Shift Schedule after training (starting around noon–1:00 PM).
- Fridays focused on maintenance projects while production is down.
Work in a large steel manufacturing facility alongside a skilled maintenance team. This is a physically active role involving troubleshooting and repairs on heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.76 - $38.81/hr.
