Service Technician
We are seeking a dedicated field service technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing doors, performing MIG wire feed welding on galvanized and steel hollow metal door frames, and working in the field on various projects. Your work will involve welding on doors and hinges, installing new doors, upgrading existing systems, and maintaining and troubleshooting current systems as needed.
Expect to handle 3-5 jobs per day, working with clients such as schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants. This role requires excellent customer service skills, and experienced candidates will find opportunities for fast-tracked internal growth and promotions.
- Install doors and perform MIG wire feed welding on galvanized and steel hollow metal door frames.
- Work in the field, welding on doors and hinges, and installing new doors.
- Upgrade existing systems and install new systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing systems as necessary.
- Handle 3-5 jobs per day, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients such as schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants.
- Experience in installing doors.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- MIG wire feed welding experience on hollow metal door frames and galvanized steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Field service experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Customer service experience.
- Low voltage installation knowledge.
- Experience with wire feed and MIG welding techniques.

Work EnvironmentWork hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for additional hours, totaling 40-45 hours per week. This is a family-owned company with a strong sense of community, where the owner knows everyone. The work involves field service, and you will be part of a very tight-knit group.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
