Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance to ensure Beacon homes remain safe, functional, and compliant. This position requires daily travel between residential locations using a company vehicle and plays a vital role in supporting both our teams and the individuals we serve.
Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
Troubleshoot and complete general repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Conduct routine facility inspections and identify safety concerns.
Complete carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs.
Maintain exterior grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and minor landscaping.
Coordinate specialized repairs with outside vendors when needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (trade or technical certification preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience
Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
ScheduleFull-Time
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
TravelDaily travel between Beacon locations using a company-provided vehicle.
