n to support a company focused on delivering mission-critical wireless communications, security, and data solutions for public safety, government, healthcare, utilities, transportation, construction, and industrial customers.
This position is on-site in St. Paul, MN
. The RF Communications Technician will diagnose, repair, program, install, and maintain two-way radio communication systems and related RF infrastructure to ensure reliable operational performance. - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with two-way radios, antennas, repeaters, power supplies, and RF communication systems
- Perform repair, maintenance, programming, and installation of radio communications equipment
- Create, modify, and manage radio codeplugs, including systems with multiple channels, zones, and trunking configurations
- Conduct system testing and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal RF performance
- Provide technical support and resolve communication system issues for customers across various industries
- 3+ years of experience working directly with two-way radio and RF communications equipment
- Hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing RF communications systems
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, radio programming, antennas, repeaters, and communication system troubleshooting
- Experience creating and modifying codeplugs with 12+ channels, multiple zones, and trunked radio systems
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- No clearance required
Salary Range: $58,000 - $74,000 depending on experience
