The Office of Neighborhood Safety is hiring two Outreach Specialists. This position performs full performance social services work providing a full range of information, counseling, assistance, and advocacy for vulnerable and at-risk residents, including unsheltered homeless, veterans, and other groups.
We have positions within two programs:
The City of Saint Paul in Partnership with Ramsey County and Heading Home Ramsey is developing a new program called Familiar Faces. The Familiar Faces program will serve unhoused individuals in Downtown and the surrounding area who are frequent utilizers of emergency response.
Project PEACE is a gun violence intervention initiative led by the Office of Neighborhood Safety. Using a targeted, evidence-based approach connects impacted individuals to community-led programs and wraparound support services. These positions are grant‑funded. Funding for both positions are currently available and in year 2027 with anticipation of refunding.
