Position Summary

The Site Coordinator is a mission‑critical, field‑based role within ATTIC Correctional Services’ Twin Cities Transitional Living Program. You will carry a caseload of 14–17 adults reintegrating from incarceration across five community housing locations in the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro, providing the structure, oversight, and hands‑on support that help people build stable, productive lives after prison. This position blends compliance monitoring, property oversight, and direct client engagement—roughly split 50% site/property management and 40% case support.

Work hours are flexible and scheduled on a rotating basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure consistent resident supervision and program integrity.

Why This Role Matters

ACS has operated evidence‑based reentry programming since 1977, and our Transitional Living Programs are proven bridges between incarceration and community success. As a Site Coordinator, your daily work directly reduces recidivism, strengthens public safety, and changes the trajectory of people’s lives.

Core Responsibilities Site Monitoring & Compliance
  • Conduct daily compliance checks across all five residential locations
  • Perform resident urinalysis (UA) and breathalyzer (BA) testing per program protocol
  • Document and report client progress against individual case plans in a timely, accurate manner
  • Prepare and maintain incident reports, activity logs, and all required case records
Client Support & Case Management
  • Facilitate resident intake and discharge processes
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one client meetings to assess needs, monitor progress, and address barriers
  • Coach residents in independent living skills including budgeting, housekeeping, employment readiness, and community engagement
  • Connect clients with community resources and DOC supervision requirements
Property & Facility Management
  • Complete daily property checklists and routine maintenance walkthroughs at all five sites
  • Manage household supply inventory and coordinate restocking as needed
  • Clean and prepare vacant rooms and units for incoming residents
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, coordinating with leadership for resolution
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience or coursework in corrections, community‑based residential facilities, criminal justice, behavioral/mental health, or a closely related field
  • 3+ years working directly with correctional populations from diverse backgrounds preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse client population while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to complete accurate documentation under time pressure
  • Sound judgment and independent decision‑making in fast‑paced, unpredictable environments
  • Culturally competent and trauma‑informed approach to client interactions
  • High degree of personal integrity and commitment to confidentiality
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel regularly across the Twin Cities metro
Physical Demands
  • Frequent driving between five residential sites throughout the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area
  • Regular walking, standing, bending, and climbing stairs during site inspections and monitoring checks
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, and moving of supplies, furniture, or household items up to 40 lbs
  • Physical ability to clean and prepare residential units, including sweeping, mopping, and light repairs
  • Must be able to respond to on‑site situations calmly and effectively, including during emergencies
  • Work environment includes community residential settings; exposure to varying indoor conditions
