Position Summary

Under regular supervision, provides administration, operations and implementation support for the Christ Recovery Center Program (CRC) Program Director and Program Managers. Works closely with the Program Director to coordinate resident services and participate in the development of program procedures and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • At the direction of the Program Director, assists in the coordination and development of established program processes and activities in alignment with UGMTC’s mission, values and policies.
  • Prepares reports to assist the Program Director in the evaluation of program effectiveness and achievement of program objectives.
  • Notifies CRC staff of resident issues and updates resident progress in the client management system, following all policies and procedures.
  • Records and tracks resident attendance as needed.
  • Oversees medication management and daily distributions, as needed.
  • Provides UA drug test screening and test monitoring/results support.
  • Coordinates and assists with the transition of residents during the adjustment between CRC program phases; provides clear expectations and monitors for compliance; addresses policy violations as appropriate.
  • Responds to crisis situations, including resident relapse, conducting room searches and interacting with police or healthcare professionals to address the situation.
  • Provides staff with assistance and support after‑hours (nights and weekends) as needed.
  • Researches, implements, and chaperones outside activities for residents; attends program retreats, some of which may be overnight and out of town, as needed.
  • Oversees development of CD Tech Vocational Trainees; provides training, coaching, day‑to‑day management, and other various duties in the absence of other staff.
  • Supervises volunteers, as needed.
  • Attends the CRC Program staff meetings and other UGMTC meetings, as needed.
  • Maintains resident confidentiality in accordance with all policies and state and federal laws.
  • Maintains co‑operative relationships and communication with the team and other departments to ensure access and positive experiences for UGMTC residents and achievement of program objectives.
  • Trains and accepts case management responsibilities for new program participants.
  • Provides transportation for program participants to medical appointments, legal appearances, etc.
  • Participates in UGMTC sponsored spiritual enrichment activities, including resident and staff prayer and devotions.
  • Represents the Christian values and ethics of UGMTC with residents, staff and the community.
  • At any time, with or without notice, performs other duties and activities as assigned.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues, homelessness or addiction in a residential setting
  • Working knowledge of 12‑step program
  • Chemical Dependency Technician certificate, and/or CPRS, preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • 2 years of continuous sobriety

  • Support UGMTC’s statement of Christian faith and has desire to share that faith, prayer and knowledge with staff, volunteers, and residents
  • Ability to work with chemically dependent men in an effective and caring manner
