Independent Living Skills Coach

Join Sevita as an Independent Living Skills Coach in our Community & Social Services department. In this hands-on role, you'll support individuals with diverse abilities to build daily living, social, and community integration skills in home and community settings. You'll coach on routines such as cooking, budgeting, personal care, transportation, and health management while promoting self-advocacy and independence. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching in daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
• Support individuals with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal finances
• Teach and model community safety, use of public transportation, and community participation
• Implement person-centered support plans and document goals and progress
• Collaborate with families, guardians, and community partners to support independence
• Promote self-advocacy, choice, and respect for individual preferences
• Follow health and safety protocols, including medication and behavior support guidelines
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports in line with agency standards
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Support a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment aligned with Sevita's values
