Container Delivery Driver -at Waste Management Saint Paul, MN

About the Job

As a Roll-Off Driver, you will safely operate a heavy-duty truck and are responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open-top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations.

• Operate the truck in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements and all applicable laws.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks using the standard DVIR.
• Report unsafe situations or service issues to your Route Manager or Dispatch immediately.
• Attend and participate in training programs, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Communicate customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.
• Dumps receptacles completely and cleans customer locations of debris.
• Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation and checkout process.
• Assist other drivers to meet customer needs as directed.

• Minimum age 18.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an air-brake endorsement.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Requires motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
• Frequent handling of objects over 50 pounds and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Work primarily outdoors and/or driving a vehicle monitored by GPS.
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and other outdoor elements.
