Class B Straight Truck with Lift Gate
- Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customers’ places of business, acting as a key contributor to their operations.
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment with a focus on safety and precision to load and unload dry ice.
- Facilitate the documentation process by obtaining customer signatures; support the accuracy of piece counts against load manifests and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned, ensuring a sustainable service cycle.
- Provide excellent customer service and share insights from customers with the Branch Manager to help advance service standards.
- Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip reviews on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists. Maintain a professional environment inside the vehicle for your comfort and safety.
- Uphold and champion all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT/OSHA requirements to ensure a secure and supportive workplace.
- Ensure cargo stability prior to and during transit to maintain the highest standards of safety and product quality.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid Class CDL A or B with Airbrake endorsements.
- Must be able and licensed to drive a standard transmission.
- Maintain appropriate driver license, medical card and endorsement.
- Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or no more than a combination of one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last 7 years.
- Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
- Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material‑handling equipment.
- Forklift Certification.
- Pallet Jack Certification.
