Responsibilities
Summary:
This position is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all products and supplies for the Blood Center. This position is also responsible for the delivery of all inventory orders and supplies to designated laboratories and work areas, maintaining adequate and accurate inventory levels, and the monthly inventory counts.
Schedule:Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Unloading and maintaining shipment integrity through obtaining proper documentation.
- Obtains signed packing slips from business units.
- Orders shipping supplies as directed.
- Logs purchase orders and enters shipping and receiving information into computerized shipments.
- Maintains inventory records of all supplies/products in receiving area and performs inventory cylce counts.
- Examines shipping containers for damage prior to accepting them for delivery.
- Distributes products to departments and performs all record keeping functions associated with product distribution.
- Provide positive customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Ensures receiving area is clean and organized.
- Kitting for Vans and Mobiles
- Shipping Donor Testing materials
- Driving company vehicles, including box trucks, and delivering supplies
The hourly range is between $22.00 - 23.00/hr.

QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Three years of warehouse experience. Experience with shipping and receiving is preferred.
Other:
Driver's License and clean driving record
DOT medical card or ability to pass a DOT physical
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Attention to detail in work processes
