LC leads the industry in freight transportation and 3rd Party Logistics services in the United States, offering delivery experience for medical, pharmaceutical, and standard freight to both private and public sectors.

With roots as radiopharmaceutical couriers, we maintain strict standards and adhere to time‑critical deadlines for safe and dependable deliveries. 1099‑contractors drive the delivery of time‑sensitive therapies and diagnostics to our customers.

Life Couriers is looking for a dependable and professional Commercial Driver’s License holder with a Hazmat Endorsement to serve as a contractor courier for the following:

• STAT/On‑Demand
  :
  Pickups and rush orders dispatched from a route manager or customer.
• Palletized freight dock‑to‑dock or via lift gate.

• Independent contractors with a CDL with Hazmat endorsement willing to lease a 26ft Box Truck supplied by Life Couriers.
• Availability:
  Monday‑Friday, 6am – 5pm.
• Local/Regional deliveries within 25 miles of zip code 55121.

• Earned per mile, per route, or per stop, plus variable fuel surcharge in some markets.
• Earned weekly through our third‑party pay administrator Openforce.
• Specific commission details discussed pre‑contracting.

• Eligible contractors are between 21 and 75 years of age.
• Have a valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Have a valid and current DOT Hazmat Endorsement.
• Have a valid and current DOT Med Card.
• Attentive to detail.
• Consistently able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Have available hours to cover the required schedule.
• Live within 25 miles of zip code 55121.
• Use a company‑supplied leased 26’ Box Truck.
• Have a pallet jack, dolly, and straps or bracing.
• Maintain commercial auto insurance with at least $100K bodily injury / $300K property damage to insure the leased vehicle.
• Optionally maintain qualifying workers’ compensation insurance or enroll in the available Occupational Accident Insurance program for a weekly fee.
• Sign up with an EIN as a company or with a U.S. Social Security Number as a sole proprietorship.
• Complete contractor‑qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules.
• Have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
• Have an iPhone or Android smartphone for GPS order tracking and order scanning.
• Willing to drive in inclement weather.
• Adhere to professional appearance standards:
• Solid white or light blue polo shirt.
• Solid colored pants (no athletic wear or sweatpants).
• Comfortable shoes or boots (no flip‑flops, high heels, or sandals).
• 1099‑Contractor y displayed as supplied by Life Couriers.

Our 1099 contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The pre‑contracting process typically takes 2–5 days. Contractors pending during the pre‑contracting phase are removed from the process if they become inactive. Interested applicants should complete the prescreening questionnaire and enrollment through Openforce to proceed.
