Warehouse Training Specialist
Location:
Roseville, MN, US. Work Arrangement:
Onsite.
As our next Warehouse Training Specialist, you will shape the organization's success by developing and delivering training programs that enhance warehouse operations.
Responsibilities- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses of employees in Warehouse Operations.
- Translate requirements into training activities that will prepare employees for the next step of their career path.
- Build training programs specific to equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with Warehouse leadership to develop work instructions, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
- Provide backup Warehouse Lead support as needed.
- Operate and train others on all warehouse industrial vehicles and automated equipment.
- Fill in other positions across the Warehouse as required.
- Review and refine current training documentation ensuring all documentation is relevant to tasks being performed in the department.
- Participate in continuous improvement.
- Build a strategic plan and cross‑train the team in accordance with Warehouse leadership direction and guidance.
- Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse process controls and ability to assess compliance.
- Sound decision‑making and organizational skills.
- Ability to present complex information to individuals with a range of skills and experience.
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, Environment, Health, and Safety team members.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
- Preferred: 2‑ or 4‑year degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Proven experience and knowledge of training programs creation and implementation.
- Ergonomic, safety, and continuous improvement knowledge.
- Master Control experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
Pay Range: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. Compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications. No bonus eligibility for this role.
