We are seeking dedicated laborers to join our high-volume rebar shop team. You will be working at the back table alongside a team of three, rotating between different roles. Your responsibilities will include operating bending machines, grinding, and handling various tasks as needed. Flexibility to move between different areas of the shop is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a machine that clasps 5-15 bars of rebar, moving the pile for sorting.
- Engage in physical labor pulling and sorting raw rebar for processing, ensuring it is prepared for cleaning and coating.
- Ensure that sorted rebar is placed into a machine for cleaning and epoxy coating.
- Rotate through the three roles daily during a 10-hour shift, maintaining organization to support production.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to group success.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience with crane operations, rebar handling, and machine operations.
- Experience in construction or metalwork.
- Minimum of 6 months in manufacturing, construction, or general labor experience.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in an uncontrolled environment, such as outdoor or non-climate-controlled warehouse settings.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a large, open metal warehouse that is not climate-controlled. During the winter, temperatures can drop to 32 degrees, although heaters are available in main areas. In the summer, the warehouse is ventilated with fans and open doors. Candidates should dress appropriately and will be provided with gloves, hats, and glasses. Steel-toed boots are required and reimbursed up to $90 after 30 days.
Work hours are Monday to Thursday with two shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) and 2nd Shift (4:30 pm - 3:00 am). Overtime on Fridays is posted in advance, and Saturdays are rarely worked. The culture is supportive and team-oriented, with a focus on completing tasks efficiently and safely.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
