Warehouse Distributor
Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is currently hiring for a local St. Paul warehouse distributor.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 9AM- 6:00PM
Pay: $24-26
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the inner workings of a trucking company dock – this consists of high-volume pallet moving, cross docking and efficient uses of trailer loading.
- Executes warehouse management by effectively dealing with truck drivers, maximizing the square footage of outbound loads while maintaining a zero-sum claim incidence.
- Fulfill orders and process requests from leadership to palletize and load.
- Maintain physical inventory and systematic counts between the warehouse and Warehouse Management system.
- Communicate frequently with office team to bridge the gap between the warehouse and trucking side
- Continue safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Qualifications:
- Highly skilled forklift experience is required.
- Previous warehouse and fulfillment experience.
- 2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
- Dependable and reliable
- Strong organization skills, able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
- An ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
- Data entry, excel and computer skills with WMS capabilities, are very much desired.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail needed.
- Must have experience with material that is 12 foot or longer
Physical Demands:
- All operations will take place at the Warehouse located in Saint Paul, MN.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects from 1-50 lbs., but occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 50-100 lbs.
- Frequently required to be on your feet for extended periods.
