Beach Attendant
Job location:
US-FL-St Pete Beach, Trade Winds Island Resort.
Compensation:
Hourly.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Resort Beach Attendant. As a Beach Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests at the beachfront. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the beach area, assisting guests with beach equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

- Guest Assistance: Greet and welcome guests, assist with equipment, respond to inquiries, provide information on resort amenities and local attractions, anticipate needs, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Safety and Maintenance: Monitor the beach area for safety, inspect equipment, enforce rules, ensure safe operation of beach amenities such as the High Tide Slide, Zing Ray Zipline, Surf Simulator, keep the beach clean, pick up litter, and organize furniture.
- Equipment Management: Organize and distribute towels, chairs, and umbrellas, maintain inventory, report shortages or damages, collect and store equipment at the end of the day.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of beach safety.
- Physical ability to lift and carry beach equipment.
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
- Dependable and dedicated work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors for 8+ hours in the hot climate.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule:
Requires flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
