Role Description The Activities Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role located at The Don CeSar in St Pete Beach, FL. This role plans, organizes, and facilitates daily recreational and social activities for guests of all ages, ensuring programs are engaging, safe, and aligned with the hotel's standards of service. Responsibilities include creating activity schedules, promoting events, preparing materials, setting up and breaking down activity areas, and providing clear information to guests.
The Activities Coordinator collaborates with other departments to support special events, group functions, and seasonal programs, and monitors guest feedback to continually improve the activities offering. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of participation, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines, and representing the hotel in a professional and welcoming manner at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and event partners.
- Experience in Training or leading groups in activities, workshops, or recreational programs.
- Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, event coordination, or guest services preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activities at once.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, recreation, social work, or a related field is an advantage.
