We are seeking part‑time availability.

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of any specials
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction and strives to exceed expectations
• Runs the floor plan board
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
• Takes guest information and provides accurate wait‑time estimates when tables are not immediately available
• Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at the host area
• Answers phone and responds to menu and restaurant inquiries
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave to ensure a positive dining experience
• Maintains specific side work and ensures the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Quickly clears and resets tables
• Maintains restaurant, bar, and restroom cleanliness throughout the shift
• Sweeps the foyer and front entrance area frequently
• Prepares to‑go orders, if applicable
• Escalates situations for management intervention when necessary
• Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs

• Previous hotel/hospitality or related service industry experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multilingual environment
• A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
• Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel

• This job operates behind the bar and may involve close proximity to co‑workers
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud
• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, and burns

• Must be able to sit or stand in the designated work area throughout the day based on business needs
• Must have the ability to move freely throughout the designated work area
• Must be able to reach tables and the kitchen in a timely manner
• Must lift up to 25–30 lbs. frequently during the shift and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Requires grasping, writing, sitting or standing, moving about freely, using a computer, repetitive motions, bending, reaching, crouching, and communicating effectively
• Must wash hands frequently throughout the shift

• Must successfully meet criminal background screening requirements for the position
