Security Gatehouse Officers are responsible forthe security and safety of the resort, guests, associates,visitors and vendors; and forprovidingexceptional service for our guests. Officer shave the opportunity to interact with our guests and associates by assisting them with questions, directions, incident reports, problems and in emergency situations.

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Handling access control at the gates by making sure only authorized individuals are allowed on property.
• Maintainingaccuratelogs of entering and exiting vehicles.
• Being observant and reporting any irregularities or concerns to the Security supervisors to investigate.
• Responding to emergencies within the resort as needed.
• Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of guests.
• Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
• Warningguestsregardingunsafe situations.
• Completing incident reports as needed and/or requested.
• Supporting the front office operation.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to physically deter individuals who pose a threat to employee and/or guests
• Must possess a strong dedication to excellent customer service
• Have a strong work ethic, and ability to work around sensitive material
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
• Must be able to work in Florida's hot climate for upwards of 8 hour shift
• Working knowledge of computer
• Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as they are our busiest times.
