The Recreation Supervisor oversees and coordinates diverse recreational programs to enhance the guest experience. The role involves planning and executing activities, managing staff, ensuring safety compliance, and engaging with guests to tailor programs to their preferences. Responsibilities also include budget management, event coordination, and marketing to showcase and promote resort activities. Key qualifications preferred include 2+ years of relevant experience, retail experience, leadership skills, Lifeguard certification, creativity in program development, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
The position requires flexible availability including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities- Plan diverse resort activities for all guests and coordinate resort activities, poolside events, and beach games.
- Supervise and train recreation staff, ensure all SOPs are consistently followed, and assist with staff scheduling.
- Interact with guests to tailor programs to their preferences and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- Enforce department and property safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness.
- Plan group business events and collaborate with Convention Services for integration.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field (preferred, not required). - Experience:
2+ years in resort recreational program management or related field. - Skills:
Leadership, communication, guest service. - Creativity:
Innovative thinking for engaging activities. - Customer Service:
Commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction. - Dependable and dedicated work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors for 8 hours or more in Florida’s hot climate.
