EMPLOYEE STATUS:
Full Time Hourly – Non-Exempt
This support role flexibly pivots between the Season Ticket, Group Sales, and Membership offices to provide coverage wherever the need is greatest. The Sales Support Specialist will assist in day-to-day sales and ticketing operations, providing exceptional service to Season Ticket Holders, Group Leaders, Members, Sponsors, and VIPs to help create fabulous memories.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities include:
Guest Service & Relationship Building
- Build meaningful connections with guests to deliver on the theatre's goal of creating fabulous memories.
- Handle ticketing and dining requests with high proficiency, maintaining accurate and complete account details.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns timely, escalating to the direct supervisor when necessary.
- Assist in daily operations across the Season Tickets, Group Sales, and Membership offices.
- Log into the phone queue to assist callers across all three departments based on real-time needs.
- Respond promptly to email inquiries and web/online form submissions, maintaining accurate records of activity and next steps.
- Process ticket orders, exchanges, and physical ticket mailings.
- Assist with the annual Season Renewal, Relocation, and Sales Campaigns for Season Tickets and Memberships.
- Guide group leaders through the full process of booking group tickets from start to finish.
- Partner with the Group Sales Coordinator to build new business relationships and support sales outreach.
- Serve as an active part of the Showtime Team, supporting guests in the theatre or via phone during show hours.
- Remain available for on‑call shifts as dictated by the Broadway and event schedule.
- Guest Service Passion: A deep desire to exceed expectations and treat service as an art, not an obligation.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve challenges calmly, efficiently, and with empathy during emotional customer situations.
- Prioritization & Multitasking: Strong judgment to rank tasks and smoothly pivot attention between departments as needs shift.
- Communication: Clear, cheerful verbal communication and excellent, professional written communication skills.
- Professionalism & Teamwork: Respectful approach to all associates and guests, accountability for actions, and a commitment to a positive team spirit.
- Professional Appearance: Adherence to the Fabulous Fox Theatre handbook dress code, requiring professional attire when interacting with guests and Fox Club Members.
Required:
- Experience: 2–3 years of ticketing or high‑touch customer service experience.
- Preferred Background: Experience in a Private Club, Luxury Suite, Luxury Service, or Call Center environment is preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required (experience with ticketing software platforms is highly advantageous).
