Overview

Faculty – Multimedia and Interactive Business Technology position rles Community College in Saint Peters, MO. This full‑time faculty post begins in Fall 2023 and is focused on teaching, collaboration, and student success.

• Minimum of 15 credit‑hour teaching load each semester; teach students in assigned classes in accordance with course descriptions and/or learning outcomes, the course syllabus, and institutional policies and procedures.
• Develop course curriculum and instructional materials, individually or collaboratively.
• Serve on departmental and/or college committees.
• Assess student performance collaboratively as a team member of the department, division, and college‑wide initiatives.
• Understand the educational, cultural, and social needs of a diverse student population.
• Possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in instruction.
• Contribute to department, division, and college‑wide level initiatives in supporting student success.
• Knowledge of and interest in working with student groups, e.g., Phi Beta Lambda.

• Master's degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary skills.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of Quality Matters standards, or willingness to learn these standards.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Proficient with online instruction.
• Demonstrated ability to embrace the use of technology in teaching and maintain the highest possible standards in classroom instruction and assessment.

Salary:
Instructor $54,852;
Assistant Professor $60,424;
Associate Professor $66,427.
