This school year, Blueprint is partnering with Next Prep
, a non-profit dedicated to helping high school students excel in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming. Together, we are launching a targeted math support initiative designed to help 11th and 12th graders master essential math competencies.
As a High School Math Fellow
, you will deliver targeted math instruction to students preparing for industry certification exams (such as electrician and nursing pathways) and support students who need to recover math credits for graduation requirements.
Term & Timeline: October start date operating across two 10-week cohorts through the end of the school year, with a winter break (approximately 3 weeks) between cohorts.
Instructional Model: A hybrid model combining in-person and remote instruction during scheduled Next Prep classes. All students will receive dedicated in-person support.
Site Deployment: You will work across multiple high school sites in the St. Louis area.
Target Audience: Focus on 11th and 12th-grade students needing high-level high school math content mastery and credit recovery support.
Deliver High-Impact Instruction: Lead small-group math tutoring during the school day, both in person and remotely from assigned school sites, tailored to specific certification exams and credit recovery requirements.
Targeted Math Support: Teach 12th-grade math concepts focused on practical CTE certification pathways (e.g., electrical, nursing) and core high school math skills.
Data-Driven Practice: Track student progress, adapt instructional strategies, and ensure students are prepared to pass certification exams and meet graduation milestones.
Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with Next Prep staff, school administration, and Blueprint program leaders to align tutoring and classroom schedules across sites.
Professional Growth: Participate in structured daily prep, regular 1-on-1 instructional coaching, and professional development throughout the program year.

Instructional
Experience:
Remote tutoring or hybrid teaching experience is strongly preferred.Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to travel between assigned school sites in the St. Louis area.
Education: Completion of or active enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program.
Core Competencies: Passion for educational equity, strong communication skills, adaptability, and an ability to build positive relationships with older high school students.
Background Checks: Ability to clear Blueprint and local school district background screening requirements.
