Cloud Engineer; DAT

Job Summary:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our cloud infrastructure, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure following best practices for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud resources, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.
• Implement and maintain security measures and compliance standards for cloud environments.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and tools, providing recommendations for enhancing infrastructure and services.
• Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and best practices related to cloud architecture and operations.
• Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2 years of experience in cloud engineering, with proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, Power Shell, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IAC) principles.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer are advantageous.
