Engineering Specification Representative, Digital Infrastructure Building Solutions

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including asset owners, architects, engineering firms, general contractors, fabricators, and applicators.
• Identify key decision makers in contract chain to influence coatings selection process.
• Drive specifications of PPG products by influencing design and procurement decisions early in the project lifecycle.
• Promote PPG's Certified Applicators to key decision makers in contract chain who influence applicator selection.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless commercialization and delivery of solutions.
• Provide project lifecycle support to fabricator and applicator partners, including post mortem reviews and future project pipeline opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
• Minimum 5 years experience calling on architects, engineering firms and general contractors working with specifications.
• Strong technical understanding product specification cycles and construction process.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the US and Canada.
