Site Health, Safety and Environment Professional

• ensure that legal requirements and other requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented
• ensure that the management system contributes to continuous improvement in performance
• organize and manage all internal and external risks
• check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements
• carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey
• establish site Health, Safety, Security and Environment operation procedures and oversee their application
• carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions
• implement and monitor action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections
• ensure continuously that all buildings, process, equipment, machines, installations, all devices, materials and products of the site present the minimum hazard
• perform risk assessments for all HSE fields on the site
• set up manuals, procedures, instructions, visual standards and signs
• ensure an audit that safety tools, safety standards are adapted, known, understood, applied, and enforced by management
• communicate internally and externally on HSE issues
• develop manager Safety Skills using Safety First, Risk Hunting, Safety Talks and Safety Briefing tools

• 3-5 years safety (basic industry environmental knowledge preferred)
• OSHA workplace requirements and general industry standards knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA injury reporting
• OSHA 30 or 40 hour industry training
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety and Environmental majors, or related field.

Demonstrates expertise in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental management, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and continuous improvement in safety performance. Proficient in risk assessment, internal audits, and the development of safety procedures and training programs.
